My dog used to do the same thing , we had just got her so I was kind of scared, I asked the vet and she told me that there are many reasons, it's was probably because she was new to the house, it can happen if she was running around a lot during the day, or just plain dreaming. Make sure she is comfortable where she sleeps. If it happens too much just call up your vet, Good Luck!

are you sure that your boxer is asleep? Boxers are very much a breed that is known to have seizures..has your boxer had any medication lately?? a change in diet?? If you cannot wake her up..or if her eyes seem unresponsive or her body starts to stiffen up..this could all be signs of seizures...OR it could just be that she is dreaming or cold..pls do indeed call your breeder or vet..Hope this Helps! God Bless!

She's dreaming! All dogs do that, and it's nothing to be alarmed about. When dreaming, they can shake, growl, whimper, they have rapid eye movements, cry, bark lightly, move their legs, like they are running, etc, etc.. Just leave her alone, when it's happening, she'll come out of it eventually. Don't worry!

She could be cold or she might be dreaming. My dogs shake when their cold and sometimes I'll catch them running and barking in their sleep. So cute!!!

She is dreaming. Just like when people have night terrors. It's the same thing. Gently wake her up, and calm her.
