It doesn't matter how cool it is. Your marriage is over so the ring should be off otherwise anyone else you date will think you still want to be with your wife.

Definetly a Buzz kill! You would seem (even if you arent) that you still long for your wife and the relationship ended before you were ready. Resize it to fit your middle finger on your right hand. Theres just something about that finger. After you get into a deep relationship with someone else, you can tell them that for fashionable reasons you kept it and stuff. She might not even like that though. As far as wearing it on the ring finger of either hand, 1st thing we tend to think of is "Oh, he's married" and walk away.

It still represents your marriage. No matter how cool you may think it is. To me it would seem rather creepy. Would you mind if the woman continued to wear her ex's diamond engagement ring on her right hand because she liked it? I'd also wonder if you might be still married if i saw you wearing a wedding ring, regardless of which hand it was on. Even if you had it on your big toe, I'd say......bad idea.

Yes.
Even though I would try to hide it, no matter what reason you offered, I would believe that you were still in love with/attracted to/couldn't let go of your ex-wife.
The ring would be a constant reminder to you of her and your relationship because that is what a wedding band is symbolic of, and if we developed a relationship, I would eventually want you to remove this contant reminder of this woman who was, at one point, very important in your life.
A wedding band, no matter the style, carries symbolic weight. So if you don't want to scare me away from dating you, lie or don't wear the ring. If you lie, be prepared to explain if I ever found out.

When checking guys out I look for a ring and in different cultures and religions people wear their ring on the right hand so I look for that too. If its a ring that doesn't look like a wedding band then wear it on your right hand. Otherwise don't wear it or get in re-sized to fit a different finger.

YOURE DIVORCED> its a buzz kill for u to wear ur wedding ring period.
if its so cool and distinctive, then obviously it will catch eyes leading to the question "where did u get it?"
"Oh its my old wedding ring"
what are women SUPPOSED to think?
trade it in for something similar. sheesh.

I wouldn't care how cool and distinctive the style was, it would be a turn off and mood killer.

TOTAL buzz kill the first couple of dates. Don't wear it the first couple of dates. After you and he girl have been at it for a while, then you start wearing it and you let her ask you about it. If she sees it and doesn't ask you, then she doesn't want to know from because she knows by her own research.

You should sell it on eBay! Don't wear it any more; you aren't attached to it are ya? Lol.. I saw on Court tv where this chick was attached to some ring of some sort but it wasn't even hers, and it was funny as hell..
