Who cares. Are you that ill? Reschedule or see a different doctor. Do you read the news? There are SO many more horrible things going on. Get out into the world and realize how lucky YOU are. Somebody always has it worse!

If you are asking what happens to her patients if that happens, she should have already made a provision for a colleague to take over in that instance. If it's just a car breaking down she should call her own office or her patients to reschedule or cancel. She shouldn't charge you for the session if she couldn't make it.

Which therapist are you referring to? If it's your therapist I believe you will get a call when she finds out she can't make your appointment and reschedule for another day or later that day, or move you to another therapist.
