I am a confused guy, because every female I ever dated has had some other guy she admired, including, some of them, their fathers.
I went with a gal for a year, we were on the brink of deciding the big one, she was excited right through to the week before, and suddenly, like, someone popped the cork, she's telling me about her last boyfriend or other. Needless to say I met one of her men afterward and they had not finished having a relationship.
Is that a girls way of dumping us? Guys?

Not all women are like this. But unfortunately it sounds like all women that you date are like this. You should see a psychologist to work out your issues with self-esteem so you can find a girl you truly deserve. And at about 25 or so they are going to be set in their ways about the type of guy they really want, so perhaps they will stop dreaming about rock stars or actors.
