Sounds like your brother might be taunting him.Dogs have good memories and will act on them. When I was a kid my brought this dog home who was abused by her owner, she never liked men again and she would growl and try to bite any guy that came around, but was fine with my kid brother and male cousins. How long has your dog been growling at your brother? I would take him tot he vet to make sure health is fine and if he keeps acting this way, then try finding him a new home instead of having him put to sleep.

If you little bro hasn't been tugging on the dogs ears or nothing like that, then the dog must hate him for real, lol, not really but dogs are not born with hate; your little brother aggravated him. Tell you brother to leave the dog absolutely alone until it COMES TO him, or tell your brother to give the dog treats for an offer of friends. GOOD LUCK!

Your little brother is probably abusing him. I would take a look at what your brother does when you aren't home. 9 year old boys can be cruel to animals, even if you think they are sweet and innocent, it could all be lies.
