i've liked this guy for four 1/2 years. he's the ONLY guy i've EVER said i loved. but.....he loves my best friend (he likes her just as much as i like him.) it hurts just to talk to him anymore.

well even though it may be hard i would do your best to move on because with most guys if there in your life for four and a half years and havent made a move they probly just see you as a friend even though its hard to accept its true in most cases and if your friend feels the same way about him i would just help them be together then you would see two of your close friends happy wich is an excellent thing

I had to do that and 9 years later they split up and the two of us have been together 3 years now . So I would say if it is meant to be,it will be and there's nothing you should do but wait and see.

I'd say, avoid him if it makes you feel better. Cry if it makes you feel better, for a while at least. But don't try to make him or your friend miserable. That will make things worse. If he's not meant to be with you, you'll get over it with time cus you'd have accepted it...
It's gonna be truly difficult after all this time. But you can't always tell where love will go.

Ok well this is a hard thing to deal with however you need to either tell him how you feel and see if he feels the same way, if not then walk away from the situation and you should cut him out of your life or there will always be a sense of loss in your life when you see or talk to him. Also if they get together you should remove yourself from the situation! theres my 3 cents!

just move on and be happy for the person u loved..at least u know that he is safe and happy with ur friend..although it hurts but then u need to be honest...some say that is not ur lost...be careful and hope u will find the right guy...

unfortunately it is something you are gonna have to accept anyway how do you know that he is not getting with your beat mate just to be near you,well you never know.it's all apart of life that most people go though I'm afraid.
