hi i have a 15 inch 1200 watt sub. it has dual 4 ohm voice coil. I am looking for roughly what amp/ config would work best. 2, 4, 8 ohms ? and if volume ?ft ^3 for enclosure.

dude, Kicker L7 are one thousand watts RMS 2000 watts height, you putting 2 of them on Kicker 750 below ability both subwoofer, i ask your self why you've blown too many audio equipment. you want 2 of the Kicker ZX1000.a million amps, and 12 gage speaker wire to ability them, also the 0 gage wire for floor and ability is recommended. both 4 or 2 ohm will artwork, i'd flow with 4 Ohm's because you are able to bridge to 2 Ohm on the amplifier, and in case you want to replace the amplifier in simple terms bridge to a unmarried Ohm on both L7's. LOL, do not wiring 2 of them on Kicker ZX 750 you are able to blown the subs out with assistance from below ability them. also, will do no strong on the amp too. in case you don't be conscious of what your doing get help from someone who's professional, or ask.

from a electricians POV i'd say u need a 500 -1000 peak wattage, 2 channel, 4 ohm amplifier in a 3-4 cu. ft enclosure of at least 1 in plywood and make sure the polarity is right !...

you didnt give brand or model # but in general if its 1200 watts thats probably peek so its 600 watts rms.so get a 2 channel amp that is rated 300 watts rms per channel and hook each coil to a chennel on the amp.need anymore help email me
