Believing (realizing) there is no God is nothing new. Even Jesus in the Gospel of John taught his disciples how to handle non belief.
Education may offer other things to believe in (for example, belief in atheism, a belief without God). Technological advances is continuous; you will see it in every civilization.
Evolution is a scientific theory that explains facts. It states how man came to be. The theory basically states that this planet produces man starting with the smallest macro molecule.
We live in a world that have two belief systems: science and things that can not be explain by science. God is in the latter category.

Well, put it this way...
Long, long ago people thought the world was flat... and the first person to say it was round, was accused of witchcraft, evil, etc. Today, people are realising that the existence of god was a mere idea, and needs more understanding rather than just plain belief itself. You can say that the world is round, but you need to prove that the world exists, as such and so, etc.
Long long ago mankind used to believe in only one God, one Truth and so forth and accused (and even killed) others who disapproved. Today, people are realising that there is 'no' God as potrayed in Monotheistic religion since there are evidences to support the flaws of their 'man-written-not=god-inspired books'.
Education? YES
Technology? YES
Evolution? Maybe
But most importantly many people missed the main point: TRUTH

You know, there's a marvelous alternative to believing in the christian humbug god and believing in no god at all...and that's believing in one's own concept of god. I highly recommend it. Got me a perfect score on the SAT - don't mean to brag, just testifying!

Because it is predicted that this will happen, "the great falling away." People in their arrogance believe they are too smart to believe in God. When they can't prove evolution, and with all their technology they cant cure aids or cancer, or the common cold.

A combination of the above. As we learn more about the universe, the gaps that theists kept insisting their God was hiding in have become smaller and smaller. Only recently has critical thinking been encouraged in public schools, and it shows. Maybe one day we will grow up and leave superstition entirely behind.
But I kind of doubt it.

,religion is growing bigger than ever before in the rest of the world what are you talking about, this country is just falling apart its called people becoming self absorbed and not caring about anybody but themselves and when you put yourself before God chaos and you cant tell me its not happining
