I sleep in a library about four times a week. Well, I have been living
in China for the last weeks and I cannot get used to my appartment
(no internet, no books, far away form school ..) over night in the library of the embassy school. There I have access to the internet,
obviously some books, pure water , a coffee machine ... and I sleep in a conrner of the library , which is made a reading nook where the children have to take their shoes off. This "nook" is carpeted and there is a bench where I sleep. Before school starts in the
morning , I quickly go to the bathroom and nobody has noticed so far. On the one, this library as a sleeping place is cosy. On the other
hand, I do start feeling tired and awkward. I think I h ate leaving
this place of saftey of the embassy and d just feel less lonely
there than in my "cold"appartment. Serious comments, please.

Yes, I can relate. I assume that library never closes, and if it does or you get caught you can always pretend that you fell asleep studying. I actually used to do something somewhat similar. I always felt kindof groggy afterwards because, well, it wasn't my bed or something like that. Things that helped me---I got a social life, which helped to some degree. Actually, it took the whole semester to get through before I got a life and a change. Get some comfortable things in your apartment which could make you want to be there---get a water purifier or at least a case of bottled water, a coffee maker, maybe a DVD player or something. Make your own book nook by bringing home some good books from the library to read. Put pictures of your family or something else around--just do something to make your apartment comfortable. Invite some neighbors over for dinner, create a dinner group, a game night, or something to bring others into your apartment at least once a week (and preferably more--I put together a dinner group where I cooked on Tuesdays and various days were assigned to different people. We also had game night on Thursday because that is the night when it seems everyone wants to get out and do something). Take a bit of time out of your busy schedule for fun, and have that something dealing with your apartment and those who are there. It will make your life feel a bit more whole and complete, and it may actually help you improve as a student to some degree, too.
Good luck with everything.

You should relax and embrace the surroundings and the culture. Obviously you have been given some sort of an opportunity. Explore it to the fullest. It cannot get bad enough. Later, these will be the stories. You already have the story about how you had such a hard time adjusting you slept in the library. Now go have some new adventures to make new stories.

If that doesn't work for you, get a girl/boyfriend. Nothing better than that for immersion into a new surrounding.

Wow, I kind of think it's cool. Honestly. As long as it's not bothering anyone else, if it's what you need for the time being, what could be so wrong with it? I can sure understand the part about having access to the internet. ;) Blessings !
