All I know about him is first and last name,date of deployment and rank.I called HQ in Washingt. and ask,but nothing.Can any Marine give me an answer.Thanks,ANA

Unless you're an IMMEDIATE family member, the military isn't going to tell you ANYTHING. This is for the safety of the servicemembers.
Contact his parents and ask for contact information.

He might have a myspace page so search for him in myspace or if you know an old email address drop him a line because he is able to check email. Ask another friend or family member of his, they could probably tell you.

Go to military.com
There you can find bulletin boards to list your request to find your friend. If he has access to the computers there, he might find his name posted or someone there might alert him that you are looking for him.
