I tried to install Windows Service Pack 2. About 5 minutes into the installation, I got two consecutive error messages. The first said:
Service Pack 2 Setup
Access is denied.
The second message said:
Service Pack 2 Setup Error
Service Pack 2 installation did not complete
Windows XP has been partially updated and may not work properly.
Are there any suggestions??? Please help.

Start/All programs/Accessories/System Tools/
Activate Windows.
If successful
Go to Windows update site.
and update SP2. and other updates.

"also, i'm unable to turn on my living house windows XP as every time I enter a Product Key it tells me it really is incorrect. and that i have tried about 5 different ones from my associates with out success." wot do u advise? the product key you've did it comprise an unique installation cd? if no longer then the keys u are utilizing have already been used and accordingly why they are incorrect.

Restart your PC and tap the f8 key. That way you may be able to get into Safe mode and uninstall SP2.
