I definitely have continuously been a Christian and that i grew to develop into Catholic 5 years in the past. i replaced into under no circumstances area of any church formerly transforming into Catholic. i have discovered lots about Atheism being on Yahoo solutions. i have also discovered about how different Christians view Catholicism. Yahoo solutions has made my faith better and it really is more straightforward for me to communicate faith with individuals. Being right here has helped me see how faith is a smooth situation because of ways oftentimes people provide the thumbs up or thumbs down. fairly some people are not very tolerant of different evaluations or beliefs. i don't believe of any perception is ridiculous. people have free will to believe what they opt for.

Any answer given with Godly love as the motivation helps. Jesus said that you will know them by their love.

So identifying the true Christians can be done by applying the standards set forth in 1 Corinthians, chapter 13, such as:

Love is patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, not prideful, not rude, not self-seeking, not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, does not delight in evil, rejoices with the truth, always protects, always trusts, always perseveres, never fails, and is greater than faith or hope.

Seriously, if a forum like this can do something to affect your faith, you should take some time to rethink your beliefs. I'm not talking about the one-in-a-thousand thought provoking posts.

On the other hand, I think it could easily change your view of religion.

At the same time though, I've found alot of answers that have opened my mind a little more.....

It depends on the individual. If you're someone who believes everything you read then it could only harm (due to misconceptions and differences of opinions). If you take everything with a grain of salt, it could help.

I think it helps mine...I can see how far God has brought me since I accepted Jesus. "There ,but for the grace of God, go I." And what an opportunity to share the gospel. Can you even imagine how many seeds have been planted on R&S ?

Helps...

They really challenge you if you believe strongly in your faith or not? Shouldn't still believing in your faith even after many arguments and challenges against it prove that you're really strong in your faith?

What exactly is this "our faith" that you speak of?

Only you yourself hurt your faith or help it...if you let Yahoo answers influence your faith...then something is wrong....and yes, I would agree....there are alot of "unreal" and crazy answers on here sometimes....

discussion always helps. it can affirm or re-affirm your beliefs. and it also gives you outlook into views that you might not have. there will always be those who see it no more than a way to rebel against the mainstream. but however we see them they have that right and we have the right to ignore what they say also.
