unless the food you were consuming after 6 was putting you into a caloric excess not eating after six will not increase fat loss. if your body is not getting sufficient nutrients and calories it will not release fat stores to be metabolized.

I'm not quite sure why people think not eating for 1/2 the day is going to enhance the metabolic rate, it has the exact opposite effect. this is why people that don't eat much or very frequently aren't lean

None. If you are talking about you don't eat after 6 o' clock anyway. You would probably not lose any weight becuase most people or still hungry. Which also cause people to eat more. But if you do lose weight you will probably gain the weight you lost plus. So if you lose 5 pounds you will gain 10 or more. It what our body do when it thinks it is being starved.

Well, that depends. If you're going to bed at 6:30, it'll make no difference. Alternatively if you're eating double cheeseburgers and pizza untill you're stuffed all day before 6pm, you'll probably be gaining a lot of weight.

I'll break it down this way. Your body needs roughly 2000 calories per day without exercise. If you swing 3500 calories in either direction, there will be a one pound difference on average. There are variables like age, metabolism, body type, etc., but that's a good benchmark with the lack of information.

I'd say 8-10 pounds considering you usually eat later. A doctor once said that if you're really in need of weight loss then you should stop eating past 4pm. I think 6 pm is a great start! Good luck!! =)

In order to loose weight you MUST burn more calories than you consume...you must reach and maintain your target heartrate for 45 minutes....it is that simple.....maybe you should consult a nutritionist..relatively inexpensive and more healthy than trying a crash diet...drink a lot of water to flush your system and keep your body running at its peak potential.....alo know that muscle burns more calories than fat..even while resting...fat tends to store more fat and muscle will burn calories instead of storing them..so you might want to add some strength training to your cardio routine..so stopping your eating after 6:30 may not help you at all...hope this helps! God Bless!

There's no way to answer this question w/o knowing how much or what you ate before 6pm... The math is 1 lb of fat = 3500 Kcal. so you need to avoid or burn 3500 extra Kcal for every lb you loose, or plan to loose.

Simply said 500 less calories/ day = 3500 calories = 1lb lost in 1 week.

No one knows. You haven't given us enough info.

But I would guess that as long as you don't pig out before 6PM, you should lose about 7-10 pounds. My muslim friend looses about that much when she fasts.
