When I say Immigrants I am talking about illegal aliens. They are planning to protest again on these days like they did last year. How can this be legal because they are not covered by the same rights as LEGAL CITIZENS!

If they are wanting to be left alone then they shouldn't be making themselves to stick out like sore thumbs!

This is where I found out about the protests:

I have posted this site before, but I ended up getting it deleted, for what reason I don't know!

According to what Bush has said, the only people who is covered by the Constitution is Americans who are citizens. Their protesting is an act of aggression towards the US.

permits and spineless officials.. what can Americans do to fight back? on the 30th of March, there is a nationwide movement for Americans fed up with illegal immigration to not use gas, buy groceries or anything, bring the economy to a stop for a day. Buy what you need before and use only the minimum amount of gas (going to and from work). Their demonstration was to show their power.. well on march 30th, lets remind the politicians who really has the power in this country. Pass it on to your friends

It is an act of aggression against the Nation, specially when they bring out their foreign flags. But this I know the more they march and offend our American citizens and symbols the stronger the American citizen get and the more they show us how many they are here in our cities illegally the more our defenses grow for our country.. We Americans don't like nobody to mistreat us or offend us, that's when we say, enough is enough and go forward and defend what's legally ours.,, you will see.. good luck. and be ready !!

I don't get it either. Plus it leads me to worry that our government might actually take some thought from it. They're protesting our immigration laws? The very immigration laws they broke. Asking for rights that they'd easily get if they'd just go through the proper channels instead of sneaking in. It's rediculous.

And no there's nothing legal about it. They have no rights in regard to asking the gov't to leave them alone, they're here illegally, illegal, against the law. Until they become legal citizens they have no say in anything our government does.

I would be much more for it if immigration officials were waiting w/ hundreds of buses to load them on to deport them.

It is not Legal! Foreign Nationals with no legal status in the USA are just that! Foreign Nationals Marching on our country.... This is a show of aggression not a peaceful protest! Imagine 20 years ago how we would have dealt with this..... We must address this NOW!

"If legal residents are planning this "Attack on United States Soil" by illegal foreign nationals, they should be arrested for Treason!"

It is sad that our government is not taking them on for what they are, (A Threat!) This is the greatest threat the USA has ever faced!

There is a "non-violent" Border STAND on June 9th at the US Mexican Border for those of us who give a darn about this country.....(It's our turn to turn to show strength in numbers and take a STAND!)

I hope you'll be there. "PASS IT ON"

Asssemblies, parades, marches, etc are under local laws, not federal statutes, and they have nothing to do with 'rights' but only with compliance with local laws - if any - that regulate public gatherings.

I don't think there is any law anywhere in the US that requires people to verify their citizenship before they can take part in a legal assembly or march, as long as those who are organizing the gathering have the required permits.

Note added for those who answered after me, or felt compelled to give me thumbs-downs: The question was why an activity was legal. Your personally not liking something doesn't make it illegal. I presume that, if the asker had wanted to know whether or not people personally approved of such marches, she would have asked that question instead of the one she did ask.

Freedom to assemble. Plus may 1st is the proper day for them. Its may day. Traditionally a day to show hatred towards America. Communist and Anarchist to instigate violence. A day for people like Hillary to join in on a protest to show support for the Black panther. I haven't decided if I should get a Che beret or Mao cap to wear that day.

Honestly I'm mad they choose that day to protest. TO me, having the protest in that day shows me that they hate AMerica nad want to take over, rather than they want to be part of America. I'm concern WHO decided to use that day.

It isn't legal. It's just that we have too many gutless and selfish politicians who care more about the next election, than they do about the next generation. Therefore, they don't enforce the law.

For the record, most of those aforementioned politicians (not to be confused with statesmen) reside in the Democrat party.

Your right its not legal, it is in fact an act of TERRORISM.
I wish Homeland Security & I.C.E Agents, would line up buses for these illegals to march right into. But do you actually think Geez Dubya, will let them do their job accordingly? I wish he would, but I seriously doubt it!
Maybe we should get our own buses and start yelling "Citizens Arrest!!! Citizens Arrest!!!

they are only doing this in hopes of amnesty so they can bring their family members here illegally. its a bunch of bull shiit. our govt needs to have immigrations out their on those days and arrest and deport.
this has made me very angry, we Americans have a right to defend our borders and take up arms agents invaders.

Because we aren't Mexico where foreign nationals (legal or not) are not allowed to gather for political action.

And we don't want to be, so that part I don't mind. I am all for freedom of speech, which doesn't mean I won't oppose someone once I hear what they have to say.
