With clowns like Barrera and Morales out of the way, JMM can now focus on the Pacman for the real 130lbs king.

I have a great deal of respect for Barrara, but age has to eventually take it's toll, and a boxers age is measured in fights, not years. I have to believe that Marquez has all the advantages in their upcoming fight, but something about Barrara makes it the potential for the fight of the year. It, in the blogbaba's humble opinion is a better fight than DeLa Hoya vs Mayweather, more evenly matched, and with two styles that will make for a great fight. I just don't feel the wars Barrara fought over the years will help at the end of a career.

As much as I dislike the choice, blogbaba has to pick Marquez by decision.

Whats, next is settling the three knock down draw that Marquez some how managed to get in the first Pacquiao fight.

Looks like Pacquiao lost his opportunity to beat Barrera once more(not including the millions he would have earned had they fought again)! Bring on JMM vs Pacquiao 2.

If Barrera would indeed retire at the end of this year, than there better be a rematch (and possibly a trilogy) w/ Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.

after this...

A Marquez vs. Pacquiao trilogy. their first fight was a draw. I bet both are itching to get back at each other.

Barrera vs. Morales before he retires for one more incredible show down! And Marquez vs. Paquiao that will be a all out war like the 2004 match! Love watching all four fight and it is too bad any of these guys ever have to end there career!

I don't think it would be simple for Marquez to get a shot to unify the titles. There are still things that are left undone, though. There is still Barrera. I don't think he would let Marquez off easy. I think he would use his rematch clause as stated in the contract.
