what are some good things and bad things of staring a detoxification diet..? and can you juss start the diet one day or do you have to ease into it..?

When you detox your body, you release harmful impurities that are in your body due to all the toxins found on our food, our environment and all around us. When you gain fat in your body it serves as a protective barrier from the toxins that in your body from are environment. Scientist are discovering that a lot of these toxins are causing certain diseases, cancer and other infirmities.

The first few days you may feel a little sick along with tummy upset like a lot of gas and needing the toilet because it flushes right through your digestive system. If you consider yourself to be quite unhealthy I would go on a healthy diet for a few weeks that will help flush you out a bit more naturally, and then start on the detox, If you do it properly be prepared to eat the crappiest food for the 3 weeks or how long it takes.
The general rule of thumb is the less healthy you are the worse you're gonna feel while doing it, but if you generally eat healthy anyway the side effects will be far less and hardly noticeable, but either way it makes you go to the toilet, and is a bit uncomfortable for the first few days. hope that helps.

If you just looking to loose weight you need a change of lifestyle, one detox won't fix this and trust me i eat healthy foods but the crap you have to eat on detox you'll never be able to continue for a long period of time. So drink 8 full glasses of water a day doNOT skip breakfast have fruit and grain toast with juice, tea and water and just walk for half an hour each day, eat balanced diet try having salads at lunch times they are supprisingly filling and avoid a lot of carbohydrates like white breads and pasta. I think you will find good information about detoxification if you go to a GNC, they have packs for you to detoxify yourself and it seems like a great idea, it's really healthy for you. Go into a GNC store and check it out.

Nooooooooooo....... :0( Please don't waste your money!! The human body is more than capable of detoxing itself !! All you need to do is to drink loads of pure filtered water each day !! You need to be drinking at least half your body weight in ounces of water ie: if you weigh 200 pounds you need 100 ounces of water per day. 8 ounces = 250ml glass, so you'd need 12.5 glasses of water per day just to stay hydrated !! Anything over that would be a bonus !! Anything you drink that's caffeinated dehydrates you and needs to be replaced with twice as much water !! Try it, you'll be totally amazed at the difference in your complexion and energy levels !! Better still, its FREE.................
