You could always do the Brittany do...shave it off and get a wig...if you keep abusing your hair, it could possibly fall out...think about that before you torture your hair more...might want to put a good conditioner on it instead (garnier or mayo)...

Lord here we go. Ur hair is messed up because u dont know how to color it. And no it wouldnt cost u $200. To fix it, it would probably only be around $50 or less. No one said u have to go to a beverly hills salon. Ur hair is going to become porus and break off because u came here to find out how to fix it, and for some reason we cant just say hey run to walmart and buy this box. NO BOX COLOR WILL FIX IT. And it u bleach it, and slap on a box color that has multi base tones, it'll turn GREEN AGAIN. If u dont get it professionally fixed, thats ur problem, we're not the ones that will have to live with f**ked up hair. Were stylists and we're here for a reason.

I had the same thing happen to me..I tried to dye it and it turned green, so I dyed it darker and it turned out moss green! Try bleaching all the color out...it is going to dry your hair out really bad but it will give you a base to recolor. Then recolor it a simple color - basic blond or brunette...that way you hopefully won't end up looking like you are celebrating St. Patrick's day throughout the rest of the summer! :) good luck.

Oh, faith-anne, I only want the best for you. But of course, you may play with your hair as much as you want. Afterall, if you have that sense of play, and understand that hair is the one thing about us that we can keep playing with because it grows out, HAVE FUN!!
You are learning a lot about color. I understand your feeling of accepting the responsibility for your work, and wanting to kill the world when it's their fault. Me too. Oops! Should I have admitted that? Or should I admit I did my hair purple in 1970, and red with a green wiglet for Christmas 1971? Naw..
If you want more info, send the questions through, since you are now on my contact list. For that matter, keep me up to date about your hair. But you must not call me Mom. I may be some annally retentive, old guy, but mothering? really? not me...oh, pooh! I give.

if it green you will have too go and get it strip. I know from experience I like you try to high lighted my hair when I was a teen and turned it green and I tried everything but was forced to go and get it striped and it actually turned out good and didn't cost that much either. Good luck and I know how you feel.

I didn't say anything. I do my hair myself too. I bleach and dye it! I had it done prefessionally ONCE and I hated it. She didn't make it the color I wanted, she missed spots, fried it and charged me $60.00 for her crappy job! I know what you mean.
