We bought a house from a cat owner and I have been sick ever since with my allergies. We have painted and replaced carpet, but I still start wheezing every night. We even got ringworms that took forever to get rid of. Any suggestions on what we can do or where the fungus and dander could still be living? I really need an expert on this one.

you could always contact a local cleaning company like servpro (that is one that i know of in my area) that will clean the house with special chemicals/cleaners

I believe your also allergic to something else in the house. When you replaced carpet and painted any cat dander would be gone. Invest in one of those clean home air filter systems.

I suspect that your allergy is coming from mold, Pet dander would have been removed by your repainting and recarpeting activities. Check the basement for mold.

im no expert..but a good air purifirer can help , it gets rid of stuff like mold, bacteria,dust particles,pollution(in the room)like smoke ..you can find some in radio shack thats where we got ours..
