Just now as I was trying to fall asleep it seemed like my brain was somewhat irrepsonsive? Like something certain was being deleted from my memory. For a minute I couldn't tell if my eyes were open or closed or which body parts were where. Currently my left arm is really tired. Should I go to the ER?

That does sound strange, but I'd suggest just trying to go back to sleep. I have felt something like that once and it was due to severe sleep deprivation. There was some weird outside pressure on my body and I couldn't stand up because I couldn't feel my legs. After a good nights rest I felt much better...if this sounds similar to what you are experiencing then I think it'd be best if you tried to fall asleep again.

Sounds like you were in a semi-concious state - between dreaming and being awake. Just go to sleep.

Hi Tillie!

Are you sleep deprived? Do you have drugs or medication in your system? Are you suffering from depression or mood affectation? Have you recently suffered a serious illness?

I don't think so. Just go back to bed and try it again.

If it continues...yes, go to the doctor.
