ABEKA is terrible. And Public daycare is not an option as Mariah would have you do.
OLVS is a very good program, it is better than Kolbe Acadamy which is the standard.

It does not really matter where the program is out of.
Kolbe is in CA by the way

The thing about home school is you can tailor it to your philosophy and religion. It becomes as much a journey for the parent who cares as for the child.

Good luck whatever you choose...it will be far better than even the "best" public or even private school.

Try american school or correspondence. Just google it and the website should pop up. Its a school that sends material to your house, books and all and you have to complete a certain amount of tests per unit. Usually its like 12 tests per subject. You son would get a regular high school diploma not a G.E.D. Its an okay method of study, but its kind of difficult to do all the work on your own. I suggest trying to keep him in school or an alternative high school and if all else fails you can try american school. Worked for me but looking back would of been a lot easier going to public high school.

Have you checked in to Connections Academy?
It is a great on-line public school.
It is totally free to you, they send you the books, cd and everything that you need. And there is a teacher to call if you need help. But I think the best part is that he would learn at his own pace.

Abeka. Try Core Curriculum if you want it tailored to your childs interest and ability and intend to do it yourself (bookstyle or some things on computer).
