to help support our heads and keep them in a neutral position. Unfortunately, conventional pillows do not do the trick. 80+% of americans have a reduced curve in their neck which is supposed to be there. a "cervical pillow" (an orthopedic pillow for the neck) will help. If you need one, I can get it to you shipped for about $40-45

well, i don't....i have it on my bed but always tend to scoot so i am off of it...so there- not everyone enjoys the pillow as a means of comfort while sleeping
