how did you get from "stopping the junk food" to overpowering your parents? anyway, just stop. talk to them, and let them know how you feel.

Great to be able to help out a fellow runner! I used to eat junk all the time. Burgers, fries, all that. My advice is to find something healthy that you like. That you really really like. For me, my weakness is blueberries. I love them! Also very good for you. We sell them at the store I work at, and instead of eating chocolate, I now just munch on blueberries.
Also, honestly, don't beat yourself up about eating junk food as long as it is just once in a while. One of my friends is a bodybuilder, and he has one day every day that he calls a "bad day". He plans it, sets it aside, and eats pizza, ice cream, chocolate, everything bad. He reckons that in one bad day, he eats the same as he eats in the rest of the week. BUT, his training is so intense, he burns it all off the next day.
Lastly, don't go scitz on your parents. You say they deserve to live in fear, but try listening to the Sheryl Crow song "Light in your eyes" and listen to the words.

Don't start blaming your parents for your lack of will-power. If you really want to stop eating junk food, have the guts not to eat it. Eat fruits and veggies, salad, healthy cereal, tuna and other fish, cut down on bread/rice/pasta, cut down on the amount of meat you consume. Don't eat fried foods, don't drink soda, and don't use mayonnaise. Don't eat lunch meats such as salami, bologna, pepperoni (preservatives, a lot of sodium, calories and cholesterol--and no nutritional value).
If your parents only make junk food--learn to cook for yourself. If you're only allowed to see two of your friends, the rest must be really bad--real juvies.

The way you stop eating them is by tricking your body and mind into thinking you are still eating them -- when in reality you are not. Trade your ice cream for low-fat frozen yogurt, switch your candy bars with fruit bars, trade the Doritos for multi-grain baked tortilla chips. And get rid of the pop, drink water, drink lots of water but in small portions.

If you want to stop then stop!!!! Just kidding, me too. I know it doesnt effect people in their younger years but when your older it does. My advice is to start eating more fruits. Like apples. And when you have a craving, DRINK WATER!! that makes you sooo much healthier. And that fills some cravings.
GOOD LUCK <3
