Crate training, basic manners training to help make the dog feel more secure and less anxious. Proper amount of exercise and good nutrition, to help the dog be calmer.

I've seen a few cases where big dogs gave jumped through CLOSED windows and have come in pretty cut up. Getting the dog neutered can help. If he's still anxious and tries to get out after being neutered, he may need "happy" pills to help calm him down and get him through the day while you're gone.

They also say a good dog is a tired dog, so make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise and stimulation when you are around.

I don't know what the question is, but here are my thoughts: 1. If the dog is injured, the dog should be taken to the vet right away. 2. If the owner cannot care for her dog at this time, the dog should be taken to a kennel (or very kind friends who are willing to foster) until the owner is ready to care for the dog again. 3. If the owner cannot care for her dog now or in the future, the dog should be taken to an animal shelter. The father's illness is very unfortunate, but the owner is responsible for her dog's well-being. NEGLECTING AN INJURED PET IS INEXCUSABLE. Unless the owner had no friends, relatives, coworkers, or neighbors, she had other options besides abandoning her dog.

Wow..maybe more excersize. Try Reading Cesar Millan's training techniques on his website. Are they aggressively going after something or following you? If it is following you they may need more exercise before you leave, if its the other they need Cesar or a trainer!! Good Luck!!

Let all animals roam free as nature intended.

We as humans don't have the right to capture everything we come across and keep it for our own desires.

Wow, more thumbs down. Must be from that pathetic mob who can only feel they are superior by controlling and abusing defenseless animals. MORONS!!!!!
