So I bought the magnet because I thought it was funny seeing a woman dressed in 1940's style formal clothes ask some suitors if they wanted to come up and see her chainsaw. However, I had a feeling there was some sexual connotation I must not be seeing. I did as much research online as I could and all I could figure was it was a bad pickup line like: "I lost my number. Can I have yours?" So is that it, or is it more offensive that that?

It's from the 40's? It's a WWII, when women worked in factories doing jobs that were only for men, because all the men were fighting Nazi's in Europe. It's a feminism thing, there's nothing sexual to it at all.

It sounds like Mae West sarcasm to me. There is no chain saw up there so what would he be invited up for? I guess it's like going to the beach to watch submarine races.

Ummm...maybe she wanted to slice her suitor in half.
