no it doesnt matter.. but if she doesnt like you.. it will be because of your personality, not your race.

Race should NEVER be an issue unless one of the people has a problem with it. But your school doesn't seem very radical when it comes to interracial dating. Who does she hang out with? Does she hang out with just Asians? That alone doesn't determine whether or not she'd date outside her race though. Although that can't be the only thing making you nervous. If she's more popular, that could make you antsy. But as for t he race part, there is nothing wrong with it. People there might have a problem with it, but if she doesn't and you don't...there is no problem.
But the real question here is finding out where she stands on all this. you might want to try and be her friend first before you jump into the dating waters. that way you could test how she reacts you and such.
but this is far too long. i'll wrap it up.

No, race doesn't matter. If the two of you really care about each other what would race have to do with it? Try telling her how you feel about her, she might just say yes. If she says no though, don't automatically think it's because you're Mexican, it can mean she wants you only as a friend. Good luck!

Of course not! If you really like her then it shouldn't matter what other people think, as long as your happy. My mom is with someone of a different race and the rest of my family wasn't to fond of the two of them at first but they learned to get use to it. So go out with this girl if you really like her and maybe it will make other people realize that it is ok to be different as long as your happy. It does not matter whether their short, tall, small, medium , large or what race they are. Stand up for what you believe in! You Can Make a Difference.

Race DOES NOT matter. We're all human beings. People need to open their eyes and realize this. It's the people thinking there's a problem with interracial relationships that cause the problems in the first place. :)
Don't be afraid just because everyone else is squashing themselves into the stereotype. Don't be just another sheep in the herd. You like her, plain and simple. Go for it! :)

Race definitely doesn't make a difference. I'm in an interracial relationship myself and after the first weeks you realize it's all about the person. Go for it and ask her out!
A good site to look at is : interracialrelationships.ca where there are polls and information from an interracial couple describing their experience.

Not really with some people it do but if you love, care, or think that person is attractive then love is colorblind. In my case if I liked a man that was of a different race it wouldn't matter long as they nice looking.

Race? Whats Race? Isn't that where you stand on a starting line and run fast? If you're talking color well I my self am color blind. It's what's in the heart that matters. Not what other people think...

Of course race matters, no matter how far along our society has come. BUT, if you're both mature enough to deal with the issues, then go for it and enjoy it.

well it depends on the person really. some people arent concerned with race they just want someone that they trust and will care for them.. well why dont you try to do what you like and not worry about what others think. and hey maybe ask her a few questions about what she thinks of interracial dating before you ask her out.
