Didn't realize this was such a problem. BUT, the best way to deal with it is good ol' embarassment. If you embarass someone by calling them out when they are in the act, they will definitely run off and think twice about such lewd behavior in the future.

Like someone above me said, it's even weirder for guys. There are some bathrooms with urinals with no stalls between them at all.

is this something that happens in gay bathrooms only because i have never heard of it . if some guy was doing that in the bathroom i was in he would either get the crap beated out of him or i would go out and report the guy if it was a club or something where they could or would ban him
once in a public pool there was man who was strange peaking in the sauna window when i was in there anyway i finshed my sauna got dressed in a stall and then went right out and reported him . the women life guards went in with one man who was a cleaner i think and they found the creep beating his drum . the cops came he was charged and i know he was never allowed back in any of the city pool gym places . stupid homomilk

I'm 38 years old, use public restrooms a lot, and I've never seen anyone peek at me. Where do you live that this is a problem?

ooooooooooh! I hate that! especially when you are trying to keep your legs together so they won't get a glimpse of what you got! just yell at them or no because that would be embarrasing i dont know it is too hard to confront someone when they are doing that, right!

Sometimes, if I feel brave, I will say, "yes, there IS someone in here."
Or, sometimes I will block their view with my jacket or purse or something to give them the hint.
