Is there a diet or routine I can follow to put on this weight?

Pump Iron. Instead of using silly machines, I recommend freeweights. Also, instead of doing exercizes that "isolate" a particular muscle or muscle group, I think it is better to do lifts that incorporate as many muscle groups as possible. For this, the deadlift rules! You work every muscle from your neck to your calves. I recommend doing two sets of five lifts. Lift heavy, about 80% of what you think you could lift max for five reps. In the next set, take off about 10 pounds. Never go for your max.
Balance the deadlift routine with some sort of press, like the bench press or military press.
This workout shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes. That's fine! Don't overdo it. A lot of iron-heads think they need to "feel the burn." This is just plain ignorance. The "burn" is nothing more than lactic acid and has nothing whatsoever to do with how well you workout.

Also, drink at least two protein shakes a day. Almost immediately after you work out take creatine, the effervescent kind is best.

Eat lots of protein, but don't overdo the meat. Cottage cheese is an excellent source of protein.

CAUTION: I'm glad you only want to gain 15 lbs. Don't be tempted to "bulk up" once you have achieved your goal. Too much muscle is just as unhealthy as too much fat. I see these guys who carry around an extra 75 pounds of meat on their bones thinking they are healthy. Think about it: your heart has to pump for that extra 75 pounds, your liver, kidneys, pancreas, spleen, etc. have to function for that extra 75 lbs. It's just plain stupid.

Hi. I know how you feel. I also used to be very skinny (180 cm tall and 54 kg) can you believe it? But now I weigh more then 70 Kg and most of the weight gain is muscle. (i am assuming you are male by the way). There is a website and I subscribed to it for 1 year - look for skinnyguy.net. Anyway, you need to do heavy weight training and eat a lot - no more then every 3 hours. It is important that you look at what you eat very carefully. I can give you more info if you want to discuss it in more debth. If you are female "fit for life" or something may be able to help you.

In addition to a balanced diet celebrities eat lots of junk food like doughnuts to gain weight for roles. Our hormones control our brain telling us if we're hungry or had too much food. So the high carb diet will help you consume more calories/carbs faster than trying to stuff yourself. I wish you well, and sure wish I could eat all the doughnuts I wanted so enjoy some for me!
