Currently I'm 5'10", and weigh 230 pounds. I was hoping to drop 30-35 pounds so I don't have to start off boxing in the heavyweight class, but how does one do this? I've tried 5 small healthy meals and moderate excercise, but the lowest i've gotten down to was 215. what can I do to lose the weight that won't leave, the weight that's keeping me a heavyweight?

The blogbaba hates trying to make weight, and the only way to do it is water, raw veggies, and road work. You have to put the knife and fork away, and stay away from eating anything that is warm or tastes good. At 5' 10 you should have your first fight at around 175 if you can't get to 168. Anything heavier is dangerous.

At 5'10'' you shouldn't fight as a heavyweight anyway. You should think about Cruiser Weight or Light Heavy Weight.
