In addition to playing, get one of those Idiot's Guide to Golf books or another book on golf for beginners. You can also check out the United States Golf Association's website, http://www.usga.org -- they have a very comprehensive website. Read a little bit each day and you'll become very knowledgable about golf. You can also order pamphlets and booklets from the USGA through the website.

Good luck!!

Well, the best teacher is experience. Get out and play golf. Get to know the course, club selection, etc. If possible, play rounds of golf with other caddies, to get the perspective of their experience. Success is the result of hard work. If you want to be the best, give the most.
