what are signs that i might be getting my period and when should a girl start to shave?

2. Shaving is a personal decision, you do it when you want to (and when your parents approve enough to buy you a razor).
3. Signs of getting your period are usually soreness around the breasts, and in some girls, there will also be cramping in the stomach.

You might not get the exact answers you want because your question is posted in the "Cats" category. The best thing you can do is ask your mother or grandmother or a trusted female teacher, or the mother of one of your friends. If your school has a nurse she may be able to give you some literature to read. Best advice comes first hand from someone you know and trust and not from strangers.
The correct answer to your question will be in general terms because everybody is different to a certain degree. As far as the shaving goes, you shave when you need to. (Another good question for the mom.)

Signs are cramps and red heavy or spotting on your panties. Usually around 12 years old but i got mine at 8 years old. hope this helps.
