Baked skinless chicken breast. Baked tilapia (fish). Baked salmon. Ground turkey.

I season these to a mouth watering T. I sometimes pour Cream of Mushroom soup over the chicken. I sometimes place sliced pineapples on it and marinade it in Hawaiian marinade sauce.

I also enjoy chicken salads with tomatoes, cucumbers, raisins, and Romaine lettuce.

Snack on cheddar cheese fish or graham crackers. Eat fiber one cereal once a day with 2% or less milk to increase your number 2s which sheds weight as well.

I have trouble dieting. Something about NOT being able to have what i want. I had to just change my whole mindset and tell my self that i could have ALL the fruits & veggies I want. I eat fruit for breakfast - rediculous amounts - and when I have to be on the go all day I load up my bag with a couple of bananas an apple, a few oranges, grapes, what ever I have. Seeds & nuts too. I have eliminated all animal fat/protien from my diet and I can NOT believe how much energy I have (normally I would be sleeping right now!) Around lunch time I switch to veggies. It helps to make it ahead of time but I usually start with a huge salad and then have something that involves a whole grain or beans. I refuse to go hungry. (did that for way too long - so DONE with that!) Found a wonderful diet coach - calls herself your personal cheerleader. She has a weekly newletter and you can visit her website at www.DrLeslieVanRomer.com
When I have that need to munch I go for air popped popcorn or almonds. My favorite dinners are things like lentils with steamed veggies (just throw them on top the last 10 minutes or so) or a steamed sweet potato mashed up with an avacado. Also don't forget to drink lots of water. Did you know that one of the first signs of dehydration is fatigue? The second is hunger - you might really just be thirsty, who knew? So drink plenty of good water too! Don't be afraid to try new things, and good luck!

Apple, any kind of berries, banana, cup of yogurt, grapes. Also, remember that sometimes you will get hungry merely out of boredom, so before you try snacking just drink a glass of water or do something to occupy your mind. After that just wait 10 minutes or so and if you still have the craving then chow down on one of the afore-mentioned foods.

Airpopped popcorn- if you eat it with no oil little/no butter salt its very healthy naturally high in fiber, low in calories, contains no sodium, and is sugar and fat free.

Fruits- take your pick they all have thier benefit i especially like pineapple(helps digestion), apples(may reduce the risk of colon cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer), watermelon, most fruits are low in calories high in vitamins
and antioxidants

Yogurt- has calcium to help keep strong bones(really important in woman who suffer from osteoporosis) some researchers suggest it helps the immune system and boost metabolism, but its better for you to get plain yogurt and add your own fruits then to get flavored because of the added sugar

Nuts and Seeds- i eat alot of peanuts which are high in protein and sunflower seeds are a good source of dietary fiber and protein...watch out for the sodium though

not really a snack but a good drink is white cranberry strawberry juice great taste less tart than regular cranberries helps cardiovascular system and immune system and reduces the rate of urinary tract infections. just watch out sometimes its not pure juice and is loaded with sugar
