Well, in my humble opinion, African American (or African) hair is different because it just IS. It's part of what makes you special and different from the rest of the world.

I'm white, with stick straight and very fine brown hair. I can't do much with mine either! And I'm sure people of Asian origin would say something similar. Their hair is thick and straight. Their hairstyles are somewhat limited also.

I have seen many African American hair styles I would DIE to be able to achieve! I love the long braids as well as the fact that it is curly. Your's may get curlier in high humidity, but mine goes completely FLAT! LOL!

I firmly believe that we should all try to accept our differences as something that makes us unique, special, and add to the wonderful diversity of the human species. Sheesh, can you imagine if we ALL looked alike? How boring.

You are a baffoon for asking this. Just use some common sense to answer your own question. but yes it is interesting what they can do with their hair. why don't you go to the nearest inner city asian-owned wig store and buy yourself an afro to play with.
