I am planning on adding 2 speakers under my armrest in my car.?

i want to know what type of clear "glass" i should mount them with. i basically want a shelf that i can drill holes in, put two speakers in, and have the bottom be hollow so i can slide some neons under it. needs to be clear and very inexpensive, but have no rattle. only wanna add 2 6"s. was thinking about plexiglass or something. thank you!

plastics like acrylic are never going to be very inexpensive. A good polycarbonate would be your best bet, that way it would also be scratch resistant.
