i find reference to an evergreen (pine, maybe) called "friesenborg" does anyone have any details on this type of tree?

The Friesenborg Fir is a variety of the Nobel Fir that was started in the park of Count de Friese in Friesenborg, Denmark in the early 1800's. It is popular today as a landscape plant and popular in the Christmas industry.

Friesenborg = Noble Fir = Abies procera

Friesenborg doesn't seem a commonly used name, so may apply to a particular cultivar. It is a popular choice for a Christmas Tree.
