Flushing is not a sick county. It is a neighborhood in Queens that is totally fine. It is an area with a lot of Asian immigrants, but also a good number of generic white people that have lived there for a long time.

I am not sure what you mean by sick, but Flushing is not it.

Flushing is a neighborhood in Queens County, New York. It is not a county by it self.
It is a very diverse neighborhood with people from all over the world coming to move there.
It is just as healthy or unhealthy as any other neighborhood.

What exactly do you mean by sick county? Also please forgive the prior posters because for some reason, they quickly jump to downtown Flushing when referring to the town. Flushing is a large town full of diversity. Downtown Flushing is predominately Asian and a bit on the dirty side (due mainly in part to being a large transit and commuter hub). I technically live in the town outside of Flushing, however according to the US Postal Service, because of my zip code, I too live in Flushing.(USPS classifies any town with a zip code of 113XX as Flushing due to their outdated coding system). So I take offense of being grouped in with Flushing however I will defend any part of Queens, NY because I was born and bred here.

I'm not sure if I understand the question... but I used to live in Flushing. It's crowded. It's dirty. It was an interesting place to live, though. Oooh I'm hungry for the stir fried rice noodles and dumplings from the little place across from Starbucks now. Ah, good ol' Flushing.
