If a guy is crass enough to ask you if you are a virgin they are only thinking of one thing and that is getting in your pants. If a guy is really interested in you he will get to know you by spending time with you and learning about you that way. Dump the dumb idiot and wait for a truly good man not a boy who thinks with the wrong head!

Actually, its also to get background knowledge on your personality. Someone who is not a virgin must believe is pre-marital sex, etc. Also it can reveal a lot about your characters; are you easy to get? Do you jump into relations too fast? Are you looking for a strong relationship or just a one night stand?
Sure, there are sleezy guys out there who are just looking to get some pleasure from you. However, there are those educated who will take into consideration the information, analyze, then implement it into the particular subject.
