I'll add another $250,000.00 for that proof. But I also have some conditions.

He's in prison serving a ten year term for tax fraud. Kent Hovind has been in trouble with law enforcement several times. These have included assault and battery, falsely declaring bankruptcy, making threats against federal officials, filing false complaints, failing to get necessary building permits, and various tax-related charges. The vast majority of scientists reject Young Earth Creationism. Furthermore, the plausibility of Hovind's theory has been criticized by both scientists and other Young Earth Creationists.

A safe offer to make, given that there is no such thing as "proof" in science, only evidence. The evidence in support of evolution is overwheming of course, and any rational person who looks at it honestly recognizes that evolution is the only reasonable explanation for the observed evidence. But it still isn't "proof", which of course Dr. Kent recognized before making his "offer". The existence of atoms has not been proven either, yet atomic THEORY forms the whole foundation of science.

Most offers of this type are rubbish. They do not really mean evidence using the scientific definition of the word, as they reject science. They mean evidence in the religious meaning of the word, in other words they need absolute proof that will convince even them. If they had any scientific ability of their own, they would not post such rubbish, as they would understand the meaning of the word evidence.

250,000.00 is not enough to even start the research.
into human evolution.

bacterial evolution is proven every year, when we need new flu shots.

and animal evolution already has scientific proof.

Kent Hovind has had several contacts with law enforcement, including charges of assault and battery, falsely declaring bankruptcy, making threats against federal officials, filing false complaints, failing to get necessary building permits, and various tax-related charges. He has been convicted of federal tax and related charges and is currently serving a 10-year sentence for these.

Yeah I'd really trust him to deliver!

Plenty of people offered proof but he would never accept it under his terms. He now is serving 10 years in prison for tax evasion and no longer can offer the prize. I suppose that does not matter since he was never going to give the prize to anyone in the first place. Such is the character of creationists.

Hmm, must be from all that tax money he didn't pay. Anyways i've seen many clips of hovind on youtube and the problem is he'd never let you get your point across. He would probably just interupt you and never let you talk.

Seeing how he's doing a 10 year sentence for tax fraud, I don't think he'll be paying. Wonder if he's lied about anything else?
