Listen! I want to help protect our country I am not a wussy, who just wants a free education. Military is unsafe, I am not stupid. I like ships, and planes. I might consider becoming a pilot, or maybe a sailor. I dont know. What branch do you think would be my best choice?

It all depends on what you want. Though I am in the Army, I command the Armed Forces Recruiting Center in San Francisco, and am happy to see someone join any branch. It just depends on what you want when you enlist. The Army is the only branch that can guarantee everything up front. I always recommend you start there first, get your practice test printout and ask for an FSR2S. Then use the score from the test and the FSR2S as a measuring stick for the other services and what they offer.

All services are equally dangerous, don't let anyone tell you different. Make your own decisions, and if a recruiter tries to tell you something about another branch, walk away and find another recruiter from that branch.

I am also looking at enlisting however I have already made my choice. This was pretty easy seeing as how I am a military spouse and want to enlist in the same branch as my husband. However I did go and visit w/ every single branch of service. Ask yourself what you want most out of the military and find which one best fulfills that for you. And always always research. Talk to active duty members as much as possible from as many branches as possible. Get personal experiences from them. If you know what job you would be interested in doing, your recrutier can probably connect you w/ someone in that job field to talk to. Remember to not feel pressured. Recruiters are there to do just that recruit. Make sure you take it at your own pace and don't let them rush you. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to go to two different recruiting offices for the same branch, maybe do that after you narrow it down a little bit. That way you can ask the same questions and see if you get the same answers. The military is something huge to commit too. Take your time and follow your heart! Best of luck!

try navy if you are interested in being a technician or air force they both are good options. if you are interested in being a riffle man too try marines. however army is the biggest and have the most jobs. depends on what life you want. the best to worst is

best-navy, air force

worst-marines army

these are in regards to the living conditions. obviously if you are in the fight comforts don't exist however a ship or base naturally have better living conditions. it also depends officer or enlisted.

you should try to join the navy. you can then pick a rate (job) that will be in aviation. you will then be on ships for deployment meeting both interests and serve your country. accelerate your life.
