Usually you have to wait 7 to 10 years for a bankruptcy to be removed from your credit. I filed a Chapter 7 in 1999 and it is still on my credit history. I hope this helps you out. Good Luck!!

No. Bankruptcy stays on your credit for at least 7-10 years, and even beyond that if a lender really wants to find out he can dig up that information. It will be with you for life. That's the price of not paying your bills.

It can't be done. It will stay on your credit report for 7 years. Anyone who offers to remove it from your credit report is scamming you.

You just have to wait like I did. There is a upside to it. Lenders are more willing to give you credit because they know you can not go bankrupt on them for 7-8 years.
