Dermatologists study the skin and appendages of skin ie hair and nails in health and disease.
A friend of mine who studied this, informed me that " the perfect treatment of itching is scratching"

He/she is a M.D. after medical school does a 1 year internship in general medicine, Then a residency of 3-4yrs in diseases of the skin. Including skin manifestations of systemic disease.
