Heaven is a made-up concept. The people who believe in it get to decide who they feel gets to go to heaven and hell. Anyway, according to catholics, people who had abortions have an equal chance of going to heaven as those who murder someone.

Everyone makes mistakes and everyone sins (murder, abortions, lying, cheating)
BUT it's not about how many good or bad things you do that determines if you go to heaven or not.
Jesus died on the cross because we have sin and make mistakes. He was the sacrifice for our sins.
The cool thing is, if you believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins (as a sacrifice for all of the wrong things we've done) and that he rose again (defeating death)... then you will go to Heaven!
Sure, everone makes mistakes, but if you have a relationship with Jesus (as stated above), your mistakes will be forgiven (no matter how big).
My authority comes from God and from his Word (the Bible) and what it says, not from the "church". Don't get me wrong, church is great IF it's a body of believers that are there for learning, worshiping together, teaching, telling others and doing things together... but they are NOT the authority... if the church ever tells you something that is contrary to the Bible.. then it's NOT true... the church can be wrong at times. The BIBLE is the authority :)
Romans 10:9 says: "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
That is the Truth! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Going to heaven is about having a relationship with Jesus, and not about a scale of the good and bad things that you have done.
Jesus loves you - really! and he wants what's best for your life... he's not out to get you - he really does love you!

Who says that that's true?
it's not always....though it can be. you could commit the biggest sin in the world (not that there is one, since all sin is the same. it's sin, regardless of what the sin is)
anyway
you could commit the biggest sin in the world, and still go to heaven under one condition. And that's if you believe, love, and trust God. And if you genuinley repent, and plead for forgiveness. Abortion is murder, and murder is...murder?
you to too stereotypical of catholics. Just cause they're catholics dones't mean they get a free pass to heaven. NOpe, i'm a chrsitian, and being a chrsitian means loving and serving god willingly. It should b ehte same for catholics

What?
Where and what gave you such an idea???
Catholics believe in forgiveness. Murder and abortion are the same thing, taking a life. You can be forgiven for both of these sins and merit Heaven, God willing.

Women who get abortions can repent of their sin just like anyone else. Any sin that is repented is forgiveable. And the Catholic Church does not teach otherwise. In fact the Catholic Church participates in a special ministry of healing for women who have been victimized by the abortion industry ...

There is no Heaven. Everybody goes to the same place where they see and learn about everything they did wrong in the world and then, they will have the chance to be born again. Catholics that tortured and burned people during the Inquisition times and any woman that commited abortion, either one, they will have the chance to be born again and live with those they killed so that they learn how to love them. So, if you know someone that commited abortion, tell her to keep her Faith in God, because she will have the chance to love that child in another life. Peace!

Who said that? Where ever you got from, never go back there for info on Catholic beliefs and practices.
Murder is a violation of the Commandment, "Thou shall not Kill".
Having said that, if someone (man or woman) commits murder and later repents for that sin. It will be forgiven when they receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Catholics believe that from the moment of conception until natural death, each human being is endowed by God with dignity and rights including inalienable right to life.
You shall not kill. (Ex 20:13; cf. Deut 5:17)
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. (Jer 1:5; cf. Job 10:8-12; Ps 22:10-11)
My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately wrought in the depths of the earth. (Ps 139:15)
All murder is mortal sin and, if unrepented and unforgiven, will send you to hell.
The Church makes the gravity of the crime of abortion clear. Abortion does irreparable harm to the innocent who is put to death, to the parents, to the medical personnel involved, and the whole of society.
All who are in the state of mortal sin are constantly called back to God and the Church for forgiveness and reconciliation.
With love in Christ.

What the heck are you talking about? Whether it is the murder of someone in or out of the womb, Heaven is available to those who repent.
