What about the soc cor team back in the 80's had to resort to cannibalism to survive. You could have left God out and the cannibalism of eating ones own leg too for that matter.

You may, but it would hurt. If you were to chew it slowly, then the pains may be sufferable.
I would take a cell phone, so if you get near land, you could call for a pizza.
Then, when the pizza delivery person approached, I would tell them to get help, and then you wouldn;t need to eat the rest of your leg, if there's any of it left.
Good question, though.
Thank you for making me resolve to stay away from boats. I had forgotten.

You may want to rethink that strategy, think of how much blood you will lose and how much extra energy it will take the body to heal. I doubt that you would gain that much in the eating of your leg. While your stomach might feel better, you would end up with a net loss of energy and resources.
