God didn't snap His fingers. He created Adam out of the dust of the earth and breathed life into Him, and created Eve out of Adam's rib. They reproduced many, many children.

logic pretty much answers this question but for those who are not logical, we have the Bible to keep us striaght.
Adam did not come from the snap of fingers, God formed him from dirt and put the breath of life in him. He then did the first surgery by removing one rib from Adam and used it to create Eve.
Together, they had many many children and we are here because they reproduced.
See, logical.

Scary as it may sound, we are apparently all the product of incest. It didn't stop there either. Lot reproduced by his daughters... there are other examples too. The Bible is full of "good" sickos that would be arrested in for sex offenses in today's society.

Our Bible is missing many other books with various stories that were deemed "histories" and works of fiction, etc - but not the word of God, as cannonized into the collection we know today.
Perhaps such books as "The Book os Enoch" and other - (perhaps heretical) - editions have the information you seek.
Wish I knew the answer for you. Peace.

Maybe the writers of the bible intended the Eden thing to be a flashback. You know when TV shows do a flashback, you're not meant to think about the events in between the present and the flashback, but to look at them separately. And remember, Christians are schooled not to question the bibles accuracy or logicality, but to accept it at face value only.

I haven't heard anyone dispute the fact there were other people outside the garden of Eden the same time Adam & Eve were in the garden.
