idk i'm kinda retarted and i need 2 know if moss is and a plant like organism or plant...
i have to do a biome project for school, and my topic is coniferous forest- sequoia national forest.... i have to list 5 types of plants and i have a bunch of trees and i wanted 2 add moss.. but idk if it fits into that catigory.... so yeah.... and if it is what kind of specific moss grows in the sequoia national forest

Moss is very definitely a plant (it has chlorophyll, it doesn't move like an animal), but it is a primitive plant.

LICHEN is a mixture of algae (a plant) and fungi.

Moses are found in Kingdom Fungi. They are not plants.
