Hi all.. thanks for reading..

My problem is my stomach area. I have lost 24 pounds but it doesnt seem to be in the stomach area, where I want it most! I am stll losing weight via weight watchers. I feel like i am losing every where but the stomach. I try to work out but the heat really gets to me because I have a medical condition. Heat makes my hands and feet go numb and I get real dizzy.

So any advice would be greatly appreciated. Do those ab belts they advertise work at all? Or any of the diet pills?

thanks in advance for your answers!

Congratulations on losing 24 pounds, that's awesome!

Unfortunately, we cannot target where we lose fat. And it tends to come off in the reverse we put it on in the first place... so if your stomach was the first place to gain, it will be the last place to lose.

You could try lower impact toning type activities such as Pilates or yoga, to help tone the area, but as far as losing fat, you'll just have to stick to that diet plan (since high-intensity cardio activity is out of reach for you). You also might try a hula hoop, they are great for toning the abdomen area, and they don't get your heartrate up the way aerobics do.. and they're fun.

If the heat is an obstacle, try doing short bursts of toning exercises throughout the day (five minutes here, five minutes there)instead of trying to do one thirty minute workout. Little bits of activity repeated throughout the day are better than no activity at all.

Good luck meeting your goals!

You can focus on your abs in working out, but some of us will always have a little padding even with those abs of steel underneath. I'm very small but have a tummy. Ten years ago I was obsessed with not having one, and I weighed in at 95. Guess what - still had a tummy. You could see my hip bones, but I still wasn't flat-stomached and probably wouldn't have been even at 85. It's in the genes. Mom had a tummy; my daughters have a tummy. For their sake as much as my own, I have come to accept this. I'm in great shape for a 44-year-old, and although I'll never wear low-rise jeans to great effect, I'm doing just fine as is.

Its very problematical to become attentive to cut back once you're speaking approximately dropping physique fat. in fact fairly plenty impossible. yet you're able to do cardio and a few weight coaching and paintings your center/abs... weight loss plan and workout are the only strategies to shed extra pounds, and then its purely a count number of firming your physique (ab paintings...)
