the amount of body fat determines if one is overweight or not, total bodyweight is irrelevant

Why are people so concerned about the numbers on a scale? It is not about how much you weigh. Now if we were talking about obese then that would be different. But you have a few extra pounds on you, who cares. If you eat well, get some excersise and are basically in good health then weight shouldn't matter, what matters is how you feel. And if you are that concerned about it, I wouldn't get carried away and lose 40 lbs, my sis is 5'5" and she weighs 130 lbs and I think she looks to skinny.

It depends on how you think of yourself. do YOU think you are overweight. If the answer is yes be happy being the way you are just dont gain anymore. im 5'3 and about 100 lb and here are the things i do: I run, swim, bike ride up big hills, spend my whole day outside and am on here only at night. Maybe just think about adding some activity to your day to make it more exiting and to stay healthy. But dont be too hard on yourself love yourself , thats the only way that you'll get far in life.

I think you are a little overweight....are you a girl or a boy? If you're a girl I'd say lose 40 pounds; if you're a boy I'd say lose 30.
