Depends on how much stock you put into that kind of stuff. Me, I think it's entertaining, and yes...at one point in my life I tried to really work within the 'rules'. I'm a cancer, my first love was a leo...and no, we're not together anymore. But, we were together for a total of 15 years off and on...love is love...be you cancer, leo, red, white, brown, or yellow...look inside yourself, and your friend and find other commonalities. Be friends before lovers...then when you're old and gray like me...you still have a friend. Good luck!
P.S. We aren't 'together', but we are a phone call or an IM away if we really need the support of one another.

I'm a Cancer male and I once dated a Leo girl for several years. The trick is to remember that the Cancer is a sacrificial sign, meaning that the Leo can easily dominate him. This may sound good to you, but he'll eventually get to a point where he won't be happy. He's not like you; he doesn't revel in clashing and fighting over things (trust me, I know my Leos!). If you're willing to tone down your natural Leo dominant and aggressive tendencies, it could work out.
Incidentally, Leos work better with Pisces and Sagittarius, who are both calm and sweet like the Cancer but who are better than the Cancer at standing up for themselves.

I'm a cancer and I'm in love with a Leo. It will work if you let it. Follow you're heart not the stars.. The Zodiac things doesn't matter you know? I don't think they are really true, if you love that person stay with them and love them who they are. I mean we're all people and even if it's english with asian still or Mexican with english, it doesn't matter at all. Love is love and that is that. Follow what you wish and want to happen. Why follow the stars when you can follow your heart and your mind? Good Luck

Zodiacs have no influence on your relationships. Your relationships only last as long as you *WANT* them to... there are traits in certain people with certain star signs but will you really like jibberish get in the way of your relationship?

Yes, it will last as long as you want it to. But, since you are going by signs I doubt it cause you are trusting something that really has nothing to do with you and him in a relationship.
