Hopefully not. I'd sure like it if someone chopped off the tops of my ears!

You did not say what breed, but my suggestion is to contact the related breed association in Ontario, or a breed for a recommendation on a vet, I had answered a similiar question a couple days ago for someone looking for a vet for a dobe, from the dobe websites they did state it was very important to use a vet who is very experienced, equally important is learning how to taped the ears properly they can likely refer you to a breeder who can show you how to tape.

I personally like the natural ears better, but figure if you are going to put the dog thru this it is best to get advice help from those with experience , I knw when I was younger, cropping was common, and I can recall quite a number of botched ears

Try calling the Guelph Veterinary College in Guelph. Their number is 519-824-4120, and ask for the small animal clinic.
They should be able to help you find a vet in your area, or maybe they do that type of " cosmetic surgery" at the university. Hope that helps.

tough ****.

don't crop your puppy's ears. Especially if it's a Dobie. Dobies are so sweet looking when they have floppy ears.
