Oh yeah, ain't that a hoot? TWICE now, not once, I have had obviously intelligent (ha) people honk at me, while behind me in line at the night deposit box. I wasn't even there very long.
Yes, you got me. I was napping right here in the bank drive through. Nothing else to do. Whaaa??
The guy behind me honked at me! Alll you did moron was make me stop counting and look in my rearview mirror, now I have to look down and start counting again!
Do you think I just hang out here? Oh, I know. I guess I'll stop my transaction and leave so you can do yours, and I'll come back later. Is that not ridiculous?
I can see if you are at a green light and haven't noticed, although I don't do that to people, but at the ATM you are obviously DOING something.
How impatient are people getting? Unbelievable to me. Whew. I need to cool down now just thinking about it. :):)

Don't you think for a moment there could be something wrong with what you were doing?
If this was one person, I don't see a problem, but when two persons in a row are honking at you, there is much higher probability you are wrong, not them :)

This happened to me at a Chase ATM in LI NY today around rush hour, of course, this is one thing that otherwise never happened to me before, I was already sitting for a good 10 min. for some guy ahead of me that was taking forever to do whatever he was doing, and then on cue some lady in a
gigantic SUV comes up behind me and too close, already, and I expected trouble and got it
she starts beeping and then another regular car pulls up behind HER and made everybody even more antsy and I just took a look around and first of all, lost it, turned around in the parking lot,
drove right up near her or close and verbally let her have it and the finger and I couldn't have given a toss given what a jerk-____ this person was. No excuse for that type of behavior, none, but meanwhile the guy ahead of me was really taking an absurdly long time but could have been disabled or sick etc. I dunno. After venting at this knucklehead I left and ended up going to a much quieter
Chase branch where there's usually nobody on line, and I was rewarded. I hate even going to the drive thrus but sometimes it's more convenient, but clearly not if this type of thing is going to
start happening. This person deserved a reaming out. And no, I wasn't in the wrong.

I was on foot and this guy in a car beat me to the only ATM... It was cold and he took his time pretty well... I could see that after the ATM gave him a receipt he wasn't ready to vacate yet... He was reading his checkbook and wasn't in a hurry, he could see I was shaking with cold but he wasn't bothered... People like those shouldn't be allowed to ATMs... I left and had to do my transaction the next morning... even at a distance I could still see him seated in his car relaxing... I felt like I could call a cop and have him charged with illegal Parking...

We lack a mechanism to immediately deal with rudeness.
I saw it in a question about school bus riders and again here.
Obviously rudeness begins early in life, was not corrected, and now you have the same problem school bus drivers got from bad seed. Civilization means we can't immediately kill or assault them. I suggest a Radio Shack digital readout the
literate can read in LED lights that shine in your rear window.
Yes, I believe you can signal a prepared message ................

Some People these days are so catered to and pampered that they want what they want when they want. These people need to slow down and think more about other people (use their manners) I mean come on world i'm starting to get impatient thinking about his crap.

They honk at you at the atm because they want to get their money to get to where they are going.

The only thing you can do is ignore people that act like that. Take a deep breath, and don't let them get you upset. They aren't worth it !

Yeah, that would be a bit annoying. That would make me want to put my car in reverse and slam on the gas.
