Trying to write a report for spanish class about Chile, so anyway. I was talking about exports, and I wanted to say along the lines of "United States accounts for 15.8% of Chile's exports " I wanted to know what would be a good way of saying the "accounts for" part.
Is "Explica" the same as "accounts for", like good ol' google translator says?

Probably, los Esttados Unidos cuenta con 15,8% de las exportaciones de Chile. The comma between the 5 and the 8 is intentional since that's used instead of the period in Latin America.

Good luck.
